Artwork Description

Neven Allan creates functional wheel thrown and hand built pottery. Her pieces explore a variety of glazing techniques. She also creates decorative, wheel thrown raku pieces with different shapes and details such as lids and feet.


About the Artist

Neven Allan is a retired high school art teacher from Forest Hills Central. She is a member and president of the West Michigan Potters Guild, and a member of Grand Rapids Pottery. Her work focuses on wheel thrown and hand built functional stoneware pottery and decorative raku pottery.
