Don’t Touch That Dial! A Classic Radio Show

October 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 & 31

The 1930’s were considered the golden age of radio! Let’s go back and take a peek into the recording studio to find out why. A fun and lively cast of voice actors transport the audience back in time to the days of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Fireside Chats, The Shadow, and Fibber McGee and Molly.

Directed by Laurie Kuna & Kim Miller.

From The Shadow - "The Silent Avenger"

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows! Joe Bricker is found guilty and sentenced to death row for his crimes. Joe, unrepentant, passes judgement on those who convicted him – including The Shadow, the only person smart enough to catch him. When visited by his brother, Joe convinces Danny, a war veteran, to get revenge on those who convicted him. Will The Shadow stop these brothers before Joe can use Danny to enact his vengeful plot?

From Fibber McGee and Molly - “Cleaning the Hall Closet”
In the little frame house at 79 Wistful Vista, married couple Fibber McGee and Molly get up to all kinds of shenanigans. When Fibber needs a dictionary from the hall closet, Molly opens the door only to be buried by Fibber’s stuff! Molly then insists it’s time to clean the closet, but of course not without interruptions from a spunky little girl and the next door neighbor, Mr. Gildersleeve.
