Single Session Class
Thursday, July 27, 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Use positive and negative space to create an interesting painting of a butterfly on a leaf. Learn to control the "wet" and "dry" of the paper, color mixing, and glazing. Experiment with texturing techniques to achieve a multitude of effects. Composition and drawing will be emphasized.

Jennifer Helner is realist watercolor painter of flowers, landscapes, and creative lettering, as well as the owner of Scripted Expressions Studio located in Lowell, Michigan. She achieved her BFA in painting from Wayne State University in 1991. After graduating, Jennifer learned the craft of custom framing under a master framer, and continues to create and educate in the arts.
