Ever want to know what it’s like to perform on stage? Or maybe you’ve performed before and want to gain some more experience? Brent Alles and Rob Freund will take you through the experience of putting on a show, from auditioning to blocking to performing. This year’s theme is modern Greek mythology!
Kid Heracles and The Ultimate Pantheon Challenge: They’re the ultimate superstars of Olympus: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, and Demeter. Otherwise known as: The Pantheon! And now, they’re looking for someone to join them… except this time they’re going to find their new member through the newest reality television show: the “Ultimate Pantheon Challenge”! It’s Greek mythology meets “America's Got Talent” in this fun and funny one act that looks at just what is sometimes needed to become the best person you can be.

Brent Alles has experience acting, directing, and writing plays, including plays for kids. He has a Master of Arts in Humanities from Central Michigan University, an MBA from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Syracuse University. Brent is a member of the sketch comedy trio, Public Domain, with Rob Freund and Jeff Stacer.
Rob Freund has been with the LowellArts Theatre since 2005. During that time, he has acted in numerous shows and has had the chance to direct a few. Rob is also founding member, writer, and performer for the comedy group Public Domain. The theater has been a passion of Rob’s that first developed in elementary school. He looks forward to teaching some acting techniques and the workings of a play to another generation of actors.
