Pen & Ink Waterfront

Single Session Class

Thursday, August 10, 2:00pm – 3:30pm

Use pen and ink techniques and watercolor washes to create a beautiful waterfront scene. Begin with helpful practice exercises and a few key principles of creating realistic textures. Then add watercolor washes to the painting to create a completely different mood.

Jennifer Helner is realist watercolor painter of flowers, landscapes, and creative lettering, as well as the owner of Scripted Expressions Studio located in Lowell, Michigan. She achieved her BFA in painting from Wayne State University in 1991. After graduating, Jennifer learned the craft of custom framing under a master framer, and continues to create and educate in the arts.
