Pinch Pot Bird

Class Series - 2 Sessions

Tuesdays, August 29 & Spetember 5, 4:00pm-5:00pm

Art Pick-Up: Tuesday, September 12, 5:00pm-6:00pm

Use air dry clay to create a clay bird to be used as decor inside the house or maybe even in the garden. Learn the pinch pot technique, perfect for clay beginners. Starting with a ball of clay, use your hands to pinch the clay into the shape of a bird. After it has a week to dry, paint your bird to be fired in a kiln.

• Materials Needed: All materials provided.
• Class Fee: $33 ($30 for LowellArts Members). Fee includes materials.

Corrine Charon has an associate’s degree in Fine Arts and works in multiple mediums. She has been creating art since a very young age and is always eager to learn and try new things. She has worked mainly in oil painting, sculpture, jewelry/metal art, and, most recently, ceramics.
