Weaving is everywhere - in clothing, braided hair, rugs, and fabrics. Alternating two or more objects in an over and under design can produce interesting artistic effects. Paper, paint, and ribbon will be used to develop a pattern with contrasting textures and colors.

Jennifer Helner is realist watercolor painter of flowers, landscapes, and creative lettering, as well as the owner of Scripted Expressions Studio located in Lowell, Michigan. She achieved her BFA in painting from Wayne State University in 1991. After graduating, Jennifer learned the craft of custom framing under a master framer, and continues to create and educate in the arts.
