Sgraffito Planter

Class Series - 2 Sessions

Tuesdays, June 13 & 27, 6:00pm-9:00pm

Art Pick-Up: Wednesday, July 5, 5:00pm-6:00pm

In this class, learn how to use a sgraffito, or carving, technique as you create your own planter and ornament. In the first session, use clay to create your planter. After it has two weeks to dry, paint and carve your designs. Once the pieces have been completed and fired, you will get to pick out a plant to put into your planter as well.

• Materials Needed: All materials provided.
• Class Fee: $53 ($48 for LowellArts Members). Fee includes materials.

Corrine Charon has an associate’s degree in Fine Arts and works in multiple mediums. She has been creating art since a very young age and is always eager to learn and try new things. She has worked mainly in oil painting, sculpture, jewelry/metal art, and, most recently, ceramics.
