Using fine Merino wool roving, silk, and viscose fibers, learn about the wet felting process to create a lovely, delicate jellyfish. Class instruction and demonstration will include how to create a flat piece of felt as well as a vessel shape using resists, and then piecing each together. We will be laying out the fibers, adding soapy water, rolling, fulling each piece, and making cuts into the felt. This class is perfect for both beginners as well as those with experience! Students are asked to please bring several kitchen or hand towels, as well as a pair of scissors.
