Highest quality metal prints either framed or float mounted. Over the years I have settled on glossy surfaces when available, as I like the detail they provide. Most files from 35 or 45 mp cameras.
I try to show the Chinese philosophy of life and the aesthetic principles "less is more" and "empty is full" in creating my images. Using primarily white tones in the background to create my photos.
My subjects are both natural and architectural. I am interested in textures and shapes and how light and shadow play on those objects often creating new ones. I use a Nikon D-800, and an iPhone 10xs.
Prints are mounted and sprayed with photo lacquer, using reclaimed barnwood frames. Other prints are matted and displayed in crystal clear bags. I photography wildlife and nature in their own habitats
Every piece holds its roots as a detailed pencil drawing first, then done in pen & ink or as an intaglio copperplate etching. Pieces finished with digital color in Photoshop, using a wacom tablet.
I blend digital photo files to create old and new realities. I love creating witty, humorous and nostalgic pieces that elicit a positive reaction. All images are produced using archival methods.
