​We offer opportunities for artists to exhibit and sell their art in a professional gallery setting. Our rotating gallery exhibitions are free and open to the public.

November 14 – December 22

The annual LowellArts Holiday Artists Market features artwork by over 50 area artists. Artwork and other handmade items by Michigan artists are available for purchase during the gift-giving season. Gift items include: pottery, paintings, photography, jewelry, textiles, glasswork, handbags, woodwork, metalwork, wreaths, basketry, ornaments, candles, soaps, and more.

February 29 – April 8, 2020

Deadline to Enter – January 31

The 34th Annual West Michigan Art Competition highlights outstanding artwork by Lower West Michigan artists. Artwork is selected by a guest juror. Art in all visual media is eligible, by artists 18 yrs. and older who reside in a 25 county region. Cash awards are presented in five categories.

Deadline to Submit – October 31

Artists, curators, artist groups, and instructors are encouraged to submit a proposal for an exhibition at LowellArts between the summer of 2020 and winter of 2022. Exhibition proposals will be considered from individual artists, groups of up to 10 artists, and groups of 11 or more artists.

The Art of Change is an exhibition of art that raises awareness of current global issues of our time in an effort to provoke positive change. Artists are invited to submit artwork for the exhibition, in any medium, both two-dimensional and three-dimensional. To be eligible, artists should be from Michigan, age 14+.The exhibition will be juried to ensure that artwork fits the theme and is appropriate for all viewing audiences.
