Single Session Class 

Saturday, June 22, 1:00pm – 3:30pm

Bring a t-shirt or tote bag to handprint on with your own unique design! Using linoleum blocks, learn to carve out the "negative space" to create your design or image, then apply ink to the block and handprint on your t-shirt or tote bag.

  • Instructor: Candice Chovanec
  • Ages: 13 to 18
  • Materials Needed: Cotton t-shirt or tote bag. All other materials provided.
  • Class Fee: $52 ($43 for LowellArts Members).
  • Registration Closes: Friday, June 21 at 5:00pm

Candice Chovanec is an assistant professor in the Art Department at Michigan State University focusing on Drawing, and Color and Design. She earned her MFA in Art from California State University, and moved to Michigan in 2017, having conducted a variety of workshops and teaching experiences in West Michigan ever since. Candice has been exhibiting professionally for over 10 years, and has won numerous national awards.
