Summer Glass Wind Chime

Saturday, June 15, 1:00pm-2:30pm

Welcome the summer season and make your own floral windchime! Use precut glass, frit, and paint to make your windchime on rectangles of clear glass. The windchime pieces will be fused in the instructor's kiln and returned to LowellArts for pick up approximately two weeks following the class. Each student will need to string their own piece at home after pickup.

• Materials Needed: All materials provided.
• Class Fee: $43 ($35 for LowellArts Members). Fee includes materials.

Lisa van Rensburg is a fused glass artist specialized in garden designs. As a mainly self-taught artist, she learned the techniques used in fused glass from various instructors and studied painting and trompe l'oeil at the Alexandria Art League. Lisa has a great understanding of color and uses that to create bright glass art that she would want in her own garden.
